The update will also optimize noise cancellation thanks to machine learning with artificial intelligence. Therefore, communication between players will improve, especially if any of the chat room members are playing in a noisy environment.
Sony recommended that users adjust the speaker volume of their controller from the console settings, when necessary.
Screen sharing, another feature improving on PlayStation 5
With the next PlayStation 5 update, users will be able to move a pointer, draw lines, and highlight elements or areas to enhance interaction. You’ll be able to send emojis and other types of interactions as spectators, improving the communication experience. Players will also be able to adjust the system’s light intensity.
The update is available in beta phase for selected players in the United States, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, and Japan. Therefore, all that’s left to do is wait for it to be officially released in the coming weeks for all players. More info in this article.
